Obsidian

Obsidian is “Volcanic Glass” formed when magma from volcanos cools quickly, it is reasonably easy to work in to sharp blades and was used for many years as arrow heads for the “American Indians” and even as surgical scalpels due to its extreme sharpness.

Black is the most abundant of the Obsidians, although other types are found with varying degrees of mixed minerology.
